New Journal Entry

Even though we were there for five days, there were so many things we did not get a chance to see. The weather was in the high 90's which really limited the means of walking so much. Next time we hope to tour the White House and the Library of Congress. We walked from one end of Washington to the other. The most moving experience for all of us is when we visited the Holocust Museum. We were in there for 4 hours going thru the 4 floors of inforamtion. The Smithsonian's were disappointing, especially in the areas of art.

Day 1

We spent the day in the heat visiting Arlington Cementary, Arlington House, the Unknow Soldier Memorial ~ Where we witnessed the changing of the guards, the Kennedy grave sites.
