What crazy days I had in Milan. Actually I visited a friend I have not seen in 4 years. She is a French Girl that I meet in Rome back than. We stayed in the same room in dirty cheap hostel, the Pensione Ottaviano Hostel next to the Vatican City.

Honestly I did not know what to expect from this trip to Milan. So many travelers and friends told me that there were nothing much to see except the Duomo (Milan's major Cathedral) itself.

To get this right I was actually staying with my friend, not directly in Milan, but in Seregno, a amazing pretty town just about 20 km (30 min car ride) from the Milan central train station. I therefore did not have the pleasure to stay in of the well-known luxury hotels in Milan.

Even several days later, after I came back to London for work, my thoughts were with that trip. We had this incredible Mediterranean weather, nicer, fresher and warmer air than in London and the brightest sun I have experienced in a long time.
