Driving To San Francisco

Finally on the Road
Well, after a slow start, the movers finally came and we left Pittsburgh at 4 in the morning. Let's hope our bad luck has run out and the rest of the trip goes smoothly. We arrived at my parents house in Ocean City, MD around noon where we spent the afternoon catching up. We had dinner at Crab Alley right down the street where we got some authentic Eastern Shore all you can eat crabs and lobster. The plan is to head to the beach tomorrow and take a swim in the Atlantic before heading for the Pacific!

I enjoyed your pictures. I live in Oklahoma City. Too bad you couldn't stay to check out Bricktown, Lake Hefner Trails, and the OKC National Memorial. Thanks for sharing.

WOW!! That looks like it was a lot of fun! but 11 days on the road (you drove your car?) UGH! and you're still smiling at the 11th day! Loved your pictures. I hope to do a cross-country with my husband someday, but I don't think I'll be smiling at the end (he's a terrible driver!!). You can't see all the pictures you took, it's just x'd out. Very smart of you to take advantage of the move to see several parts of the country. Sorry you weren't able to see at least some of the amazing parts of Oklahoma City. Not historically a tourist destination but within the last 10 years an amazing tranformation. Vegas and San Francisco are definitely amazing cities. Never been to Ocean City or Greensboro so no comments there. Thanks for sharing your journey.
