Family Vacation 2007

We arrived about 3 pm Hawaii time and finally made it to the condo about 4:30 or 5 pm.  The condo is really nice.  Mom and Dad have their own room and bathroom.  We have a room with 2 double beds for us and the boys, and Aunt Deb has her own room too.  The 5 of us all share a bathroom.  Jake was excited about having a little toilet until he found out it was a beday!

After we got a little settled in the condo, we went to the Hula Grill for dinner.  We sat outside, and most of us had some fresh grilled Mahi Mahi or Fish and Chips.  It was great!  We topped it off with a dessert called "Baked Hawaii".  It was pineapple upside-down cake with ice cream, mereingue, pineapple, and a rum sauce.  Very good!!!!  During dinner, a guy at the table next to us had a little lizard crawl on him, and he passed it on to Jake.  Then the lizard went from Jake to Jeff to TJ to Poppy to Grandma.  Grandma got rid of the lizard pretty quickly! 

After dinner, we walked around the Whalers Village.  TJ was on his way to the Quiksilver store, but stopped at the Volcom store instead.   While TJ perused the Volcom hats, everyone else watched some drummers do a show in the courtyard of Whalers Village.

After we left Whalers Village, we came back to the condo and crashed.  It was almost 2 am Tulsa time, and we were worn out.  We are off to the beach tomorrow!
