City
We're hoping to take off Saturday morning 6/30. We'll be making good time getting to Vegas but all the while scouting out things to do and see on the return trip. Mt St Helens is certainly one such stop.
I realized that I shouldn't be waving our hotel confirmation numbers around online (they're in the notes for each hotel in the Trip Plan) until after we've made use of them. So I've made the plan private except for family and after they've signed in with their Y! IDs.
Spread the word if anyone is asking.
Keep having fun! Joan
How about the Oregon Caves outside of Grants Pass on the way back. Plan on a wait when you get there for your tour. The road up is very very windy, but beautiful. just a thought! I forget what they are known for (other than large cold caves), but I remember going there as a kid. We drove up there once but the wait was too long. It took longer than anticipated to get there, and someone was cranky that day. Wasn't me!
Have fun!
Be Safe!
Thanks for the movie recommendation. May do when we get home. We're all about doing stuff on the road we can't do at home.
Patty and I did Sea Lion Caves (I think) or at least stopped there once. We're still holding open the option of driving up a coastal highway. But so far we're attracted to the low-humidity climes.
