New Journal Entry

The next day, we got to Disney's Boardwalk Inn (which was where my in-laws stayed). It was very, very nice. They even got to check in earlier. We then went to Epcot for the 4th.

We had pastries for breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery. They got the best food on Boardwalk. I would highly recommend this place to anyone out there. The cost is very reasonable, too. We ate lunch at Liberty Inn which was really nice. We had dinner at Le Cellier. If you got the money to spend on food, I would highly recommend this place, too. Anything on the menu is good. Prices range from $19.99 for the soup to $24.99 for steak meal.

The weater was overcast, but it only rain a little during dinner time. I tried Soarin' for the first time; I got talked into it and I really loved it. The best drink at Epcot (I would have to say) is China's Peach Oolong tea. The best ride there was the updated Spaceship Earth. I nearly die laughing with the small cartoon at the end of the ride. You have to see it to be giggled by it. The rides that we missed doing at this park was: Test Track (Down because of weather most of the time), Turtle Talk with Crush, Nemo & Friends ride, and Maelstrom.

I'm sorry that I haven't been on this for awhile. For anyone who has a short (meaning 3 day go at it) plan vacation to WDW, I would highly recommend picking out my 3 favorite parks and spending a whole day at each of those parks. I would also recommend picking up WDW trip planner book (like Birnbaum's Walt Disney World Official Guide book or PassPorter's Walt Disney World) to help you decide on which rides, attractions, and places to eat. I came back to this to help me with planning on mine own upcoming trip. We're not going down to Orlando two times this year, but that is okay by me. We're planning on going October 2nd - 11th, 2009 and I have that up already. I'm, also, going to be posting a trip report along with pictures there when we come back. Next trip planner is called: Hassler/Hartsell's 2009 Halloween Walt Disney World Trip.

I am planning to go there. but the problem is 'time'. I have only three days(Thu, Fri and Sat) in hand. Is a three days trip enough for Orlando?

My family and I leave for WDW on 10/9/08. We are so excited about the trip. My brother, his wife and my 2 neices and myself. We drive down and with the 3 of us adults taking turns driving it is not that bad. We did it last year in August (too hot) so that is why we are going in October. We rent a house there for the week costing us less than 800.00 with 4-bedrooms, pool and gated community. It is wonderful and very private. We are doing all the parks and making sure we don't miss a thing. We are also going to sea world (I can't wait). I am so excited to be hanging out with my neices (6 and 7 yrs old)and acting like a kid again. Last year we did the princess breakfast which I thought was definitely worth the money and the girls were just in awe. Although Magic Kingdom is my favorite the Animal Kingdom in 2nd to none. We are doing Epcot this year for the 1st time and they are having their wine festival which my SIL and I will totally enjoy. We are looking forward to seeing Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk as well as Breakfast at Chef Mickeys.

I finally put up my Trip Journal with pictures for those of you to read & see it. Next time, my family has already planned on the 2009 trip. My parents are upgrading their timeshare from a 2 bedroom condo to a 4 bedroom condo, so me and my husband don't have to put up money for a place to stay. I won't start that one (Hassler/Hartsell 2009 Walt Disney World Trip Planner) until either November or December of this year. I'm planning on getting the 2009 PassPorter from the bookstore just as soon as it hits the bookshelves. That book was a very big help, so I would highly recommend it to anyone out there planning on Walt Disney World trip.

It wouldn't be long for this Magical Gathering to start. It's only 25 more days left. My youngest sister and her two kids are finally on board. My husband has our tickets ready for us; we just got to pick them up at the ticket booth. We got a 7-day Hopper pass. Today, I printed out maps going there and back, so we won't get lost.
