My husband and I spent Spring break in the Keys. It was I first trip there and it was a blast!!!!

Georgia to Marathon, Fl

Day 1: Georgia to Marathon in nine hours
We began our journey with a nine-hour drive from Georgia to Marathon, Fl. Eventhough the trip was extremely long....it was also extremely beautiful. From the overseas highway I saw some of the most beautiful vistas and water that I have ever seen.
When we arrived in Marathon, we went straight to the house we had rented. I was so very pleased with the house....I had made the rental without really knowing anything about the place except for what the web page and owners had told me over the phone.

It was an anniversary trip Thought it would be romantic but ex found lots of activity to do busy place when ships come in stayed at the Curry Mansion Inn Elegant Bed and Breakfast with own pool deep sea fishing didn;t go so well should have stayed on land Sunsets were beautiful now I will see them with someone else

Looe was gorgeous!! Unfortunately, we did not see any sharks, but we did see a variety of other marine life. I can't wait to go back!

Oh and p.s., isnt Looe gorgeous?! Did you see any bull or reef sharks while snorkeling? I love it. I worked on Summerland Key and in Key West too...im so jealous! I miss it so much!

Sounds like you guys had fun. I work in the Keys over the summer with the Boy Scouts and love the Keys more than any place ive ever been. Its my home away from home. The first summer i was there actually, i spent most of my free time at Anne's Beach, so seeing that on your schedule made me smile. I loved chasing around the little crabs and just floating in the water...its a gorgeous place. In fact, being at Anne's, you were right across the street from one of the camp's bases in the Keys! Im glad to hear you guys had fun...and i encourage you to go back...it only gets better!! :o)
