We left San Diego at Midnight, no one could sleep. The drive to Flagstaff took about 8 hours.
After a little nap we did some sightseeing at the train station, (The vacation has a a train theme) and a little shopping for food. This wasn't our first trip to Flagstaff so we did not need to do Williams, the Grand Canyon, Meteors or Indian Ruins. This was just a stopping point.
No need to cook here at the Flagstaff KOA just get up pack up eat a$3 breakfast and we were off. Earlier in the year we gave the kids a road map and a list of places we wanted to see. It was up to them to get us there. For the entire trip we had to ask them, where are we and are we there yet?? Everyone needs to visit the 4 corners ONCE!!! We past a cool Electric Train that hauls coal on the road there. It's so quiet you only see it and not hear it
