A&E Honeymoon

My wife, Ayana, and I arrived in Galena, Il at The Goldmoor Inn late Tuesday night.  The Inn keeper, Patricia, was waiting up for us and was very helpful and informative with it being so late at night.  When she showed us our room, The Arthur Suite, we were blown away.  The room was very spacious and romantic.  It had a dining/kitchen area with a table for two by the window so we can have breakfast there.  We had a great view of the Mississippi River from our breakfast table.  There was a big screen tv, a dvd player, vhs player and satelite cable.  One of my favorite perks in the room was the hot tub in the room.  My wife loved having a little table by the window for us to have breakfast at.  

One of the best things about selecting The Goldmoor Inn for our first honeymoon stop was that it was a place where you felt like you have gotten away from everything else in your life.  When we were driving to the Inn, we had to take a "back road" for 6 miles to get to it.  So, it definitely felt like you were away from it all.
