Arrival
I have to admit, choosing this week to vacation is awesome, if you can swing it. With everyone doing their travel Tues/Weds before Thanksgiving and returning the Sunday after Thanksgiving it gives a nice Fri/Sat window for sneaking out. Getting into LGA was a breeze, all flights were on time and virtually flawless (American Airlines: LGA to MIA to GCM). We took a cab to the resort, which cost ~US$22 with tip.
Across the street was one of the best resturaunts we visited on the trip: Coconut Joe's . They have a diverse menu of surprisingly healthy food. I chose a rice bowl, which was really good. The rest of the menu included wraps, burgers, salads, and other quasi-fusion food. Recommended if you're in the area.
