spend a few hours at one of duluth's scenic parks. enger park gives an excellent view of the city and the harbor, and the kids can run off some energy climbing to the top of the stone tower. the leif erickson park and rose garden (13th ave east & london road) will be in full bloom whie you're there. if it's warm, take a dip in lake superior on wisconsin point over in superior, wi. have fun!
