Who: Theresa (Mom and chauffeur extraordinaire), Alexandra (6 year old Leapster aficionado), and the Jeep Cherokee (affectionately known as ‘The Saltmobile’ at this time of year.)
What: 2100 miles and 9 days o’ road trip fun
When: Nov 22nd-Dec 1st, 2007
Where: From Northern NJ to the Carolinas and back
Why: To spend some time with cousins in South Carolina and see some cool stuff along the way.

Thank you for sharing your memories. It sounds like a great trip. I live in Lexington SC and have been to Riverbanks Zoo many times. It is one of my favorite places (and it is right here at home) I have also been to Biltmore Estates, Charleston,and Edisto Beach. I love Charleston, my daugther is just finishing her studies at College of Charleston. There is so oooo much to see and do there. I am a history buff and could spend days just walking the streets. Hope I get to visit all the other places you saw on this trip some time. They are all on my list of places to see. Thanks again. And happy travels to you and yours. Bon Bon

Well I live in California and will be moving 2 South Carolina on September -2008 this makes me so happy to know that there will be lots for me to do. We will be taking the road trip there! How is the whether over there? California has so many nice days I will miss it! But I hope to fall in love with South Carolina!
