Day 1 - Anacortes to Hood River''
Today i ride from anacortes to hood river to stay with an old friend Brogan Houtz and his new wife Lauren. On my way down i met Johnny B for lunch at a sushi bar in portland, OR, mmmmm....... then on the way to hood river breifly saw some waterfalls . After i arived in hood river casey houtz noticed a good sized galvanized nail in my rear tire!!! and on my front tire ive got some really messed up wear marks. so we left the bike at Jeff and stacey's over night. i then went to meeting with brogan and lauren. hung out with them that night and went to bed, needless to say im slightly concerned about my tires. both of them.

Hi Son! We are so glad you're keeping this journal. Your trip so far looks awesome! We just got home from our Winthrop motorcycle ride..it was great. 12 of us total. Garrett stayed with Weston & Mariko and helped on their roof. Stay safe in boring Nebraska.
