New Journal Entry
Thursday, May 24th, late at night... Well, tomorrow is the big day. Okay, maybe it's a medium day. Going to Milwaukee probably doesn't seem like a big deal, especially when I'm only in a Chicago suburb. But, I haven't taken a real vacation in nearly 10 years, so I am really looking forward to this.
I'm eager to get there and check it out. I don't think I've been to Milwaukee since I was in 5th grade and we went on a field trip to the Milwaukee Zoo.
I'll have to remember to not pack too much, like I usually tend to do. Just one dressy outfit in case we go to dinner somewhere nice. A couple of casual outfits, and a pair of jeans and a light jacket should do just fine. Can't forget comfy walking shoes!
Maybe we'll do Reiman Publications on Saturday and the Mansions on Sunday. We can even do the churches on our way home. Of course, we could also just sit around and relax - relax, wow, I can actually use that word in a sentence!
I guess I had better get to sleep so that I'm ready to get going in the morning. TTFN... Catt
