We're Off...

Well, we didn't leave the house till 7:30am I think. Later than we had planned, but that's ok. My moto for the trip was "it's no big, we're on vaca.". Ofcourse, we stopped and ate at Ihop then headed out of town. The drive went by pretty fast. Stopped at Joe's like we had planned. Yum yum. We already looked like tourists, taking pics and what not. We shared this mixed crab platter thing. OMG it was so good! Quickly stopped by the gift shop (didn't buy anything) before getting back on our way. Got into San Antonio at about 2:30pm, so we'll go by the big boots later. Hit some trafic trying to get to our hotel, cuz there had been a major accident (looked in the paper the next day and found out no one suffered life threatening injuries, Thank God). Finally got to our hotel around 3:00pm. Got unpacked and what not, then took a nap. Later on that evening we got ready and went to The Magic Time Machine. It was by far the best resturant I've ever been to. All the wait-staff dress up as different characters. From Spiderman to Rainbow Bright, Captain Jack Sparrow was the best. Our waiter was Dog the Bounty Hunter. We had so much fun, like we were kids again. Now we've decided we have to take the kids to the one in Dallas sometime soon. After we left there we got lost looking for Coyote Ugly. We were so relieved when we found it. We had such a blast there! It was surprising to see such a diverse crowd there. Don't know time we got back to the hotel, we were exhausted...
