Chattanooga Trip 2007

this trip was wonderful and had something to do for everyone in the family (age 1 year to 13 years plus adults).  everyone loved Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens, and with the beauty of the area, even I was able to walk and keep up...  we would drive in to the Chatanooga Choo Choo in the morning and catch the shuttle buses to get around town..  We live near the New Orleans Aquarium and go very often, yet i was still very impressed with the Chattanooga Aquarium....... I would not recommend the hotel we stayed at though...... It was very nice and clean but the staff was not the best...... in fact, upon returning home we found three credit cards were stolen and used by a cleaning lady at the hotel..... They have offered no assistance with the matter....

Lookout Mountain was beautiful and had a lot to offer, we loved just riding around on the mountain.... the Incline Railway was a little scary to look at it, but was fun to ride.....  note - park at the bottom for free parking.....

The discovery Museum was nice.... the kids thought the Mississippi one was more fun, but the water room in the Chattanooga Children's Museum made it even better than the Mississippi one.... The one year old wouldnt leave the water table........

Dining - Candyland was fun, the children loved it.... great stop on  the way to the aquarium to get an ice cream cone....
