Fri 06/15/07 (day 1)

New Journal Entry

We headed up on friday afternoon after work and we drove and drove and drove but we did make a stop in a town called Cuero. It was so cute! They had theses old antique shops and had beautiful things there! We didnt buy cause we had to get on the road.

UPDATE!!!

We have made it to the hotel! Its so beautiful! despite all the construction. The hotel staff was promt and nice and even had pool towels warmed up for us! They asked if there was anything we needed and then our room a great we got a king suite and my daughter wanted to run around the room!

For dinner we went to the magic time machine....she had a blast but the food was bad and for what we got it wasnt worth the price:(

We decided to skip the riverwalk. We were tired and wanted to relax. We haeaded back to the hotel and went swimming! My parents who just arrived took our daughter and went to there room and we enjoyed the bar and the hot tub

We stayed for 3 days and we loved it. I am planning a trip real soon. The kids loved it. The dolphins were awesome and the Budweiser Horses were beautiful. I would stay closer this time though I stayed too far by Riverwalk. Suggestions I have are get the tickets from Fort Bliss or get coupons from Long John Silvers Seafood Restaurant they have good deals to get in to Sea World in San Antonio. Trust me your son will love it alot of Entertainment. Must get there early or you and your family will not have enough time to see all of Sea World. Have FUn and drink lots of water.

Has anyone went to the waterpark at Sea World? We are planning to make this our summer vacation but I think we are going to get the 2 day passes. Are the tickets at HEB cheaper than at the actual park?

hello! my family and i are taking a trip mid-august and we're having some difficulty finding the perfect hotel! where did you guys stay? it sounds really neat. she's only one yr old so i need a room with a microwave and refridgerator. thanks for the help!
