Toronto Zoo is the wonderful place. If you love animals or you have a kids, dont miss it. It is not far from downtown, like 30 minute driving. It is a huge zoo and has all kinds of animals and well presented. Prepare 1 day there and you wont be disappointed.
Tips: Follow the events of keeper feeding. So you can see polar bear eats fish or tiger eats meat.
If you are not hockey fan, like me, dont go. It is really boring. I wouldn't go there if it is not in the citypass ticket. Anyway, Stanly cup is always cool
It is not really medieval. it is built by ex toronto major Sir Henry in 1920s. So it is not that exciting. Go if u like cassle stuff.
The price in toronto is expensive comparing to america. And dont forget 14% sale tax. Pho noodle place is a good and cheap choice when you wander in china town. Real good restaurants are located in north toronto, Markem area. There is one place I want to recommend, Icook buffet. It is a chinese hotpot buffet. Each person can have his own pot and more than 20 kinds of base soup to choose from. 10 bucks more you can get a fresh one pould lobster. Plus unlimited beef, pork, lamb, chicken and fish. All this just 14.90 CDN. Nice deal.
Tons of malls, supermarkets are located in downtown area, like BCE, Eaton. But they just pricy and stuff are not hard to find in US.
No one will miss CN tower if you get to Toronto. It is just a tallest building in the world. The view is wonderfull up there and the glass floor is s
