Glad to hear you all arrived safely. I was nervous the whole way home, thinking you forgot something in the car, and I didn't have my phone for you to call.
Only in Japan would a "meal ticket" be a good thing...
Thanks for the report..thought about you all day Tuesday. Wait until you read the editorial in Tuesdays paper about your wedding..cool!! Norma Boldt called this morning wanting to know if the article in the paper was about the DOUG she knew. Kitty is doing just fine...lots of meowing. Stopped at the Rep on Tuesday..got several copies. Stopped at the McKinley Grand to thank Jamie for the outstanding service and good food. He appreciated my comments..said he enjoyed watching Joe decorate the cake..was a first for him. Have a great time.
It sounds so exciting already. I can't wait to hear about everything and see pictures and some video. I saw Scotts preview pictures and they looked great...You didn't mention the flight-I hope you got upgraded there too. I love you and will be thinking about you. Have tons of fun on your first adventure as a married couple.
If you two are planning on bringing your favorate knocked up bridesmaid home a present...she would like Toppo Chocolate Pretzel Sticks they wound wonderful, and I've never tried them before. Hey its better than requesting a Kate Spade bag right??? I am living this wonderful vacation with you through this blog, so keep it up. Hope you too are having fun! By the way see how much it is to involve a geisha in your consummation- I'd love to know.
hey it's me again. I'm really enjoying all the pictures and captions. I don't need to ask if you are having fun (that seems like a stupid question). Anyway, I just really wanted to make sure I got something from Helly Kitty Land and then of course something japanese and super beautiful later in the trip. Well, see what you can do.I will pay you for whatever you think I'd like. Love to you both, Mom
I should be sleeping (midnight now) while you two are off eating in Ginza. Your adventures sound wonderful. So glad you are having a good time and enjoying the sights. All is well at your house. Neighbor lady is parking her car in your driveway. "Miss Kitty" is curled up on the sofa..Dad fed Cacho today. We are anxious to hear more about your trip. Keep the reports coming. Much love, Mom and Dad
Hi Doug & Jess, Yes, this is 5th time I have tried to post an email to you! Kinda like the trains.. We are so glad to hear you all are having so much fun on your adventure together as Mr. and Mrs. Bennett! We love you and are having fun on trip!!
Hi there world travelers. Just wanted to tell ya that I dig reading about your trip. Thanks for all the great stories and pics. Jess: My cousin went to Japan on her Senior trip a few years ago, and she had the same issue with trying to buy some of the cool clothes she saw. She got nothing- nor did her friends. Doug: Octopus and Snails. Hardcore. You are now up there with Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmer. Here’s a question: in the Simpson’s episode where the family goes to Japan, the toilet in the hotel talks. Does the one at your hotel talk? That’d be funny…

Breathe it all in.

In using the phrase of "I would like this.", "kore wo kudasai" is more colloquialism translation in Japanese.
Would you try this?
