Sat 03/10/07 (day 1)

We're off to see the . . .

Started off Saturday morning and went by the cabins. They are very nice. We did get to check in early (no charge) and got upgraded to the whirlpool tub (no charge). Decided to take in Ruby Falls first, the kids loved it the best. Then on to Rock City, the swinging bridge is still the most fun! I had to buy some fudge. Unfortunately the incline was out of commission. Ate supper at Cracker Barrel. Of course we couldn't end the day without a trip to the nearest Wal-Mart. Hey, don't wear new tennis for a trip with this much walking!

Hey,
I am planning a trip for my four year olds fifth b day. What cabins were you at? I found some at thr Raccon Cave place 4 miles away. Were you some where else? That whirlpool sounds good.

Sorry I took so long getting back to you. We stayed at Scenic View Log Cabins, just across the Georgia state line. Click on the view word by their name on the schedule planner and their home page should come up. I didn't know about the ones at Raccoon Mountain when we went, but they look interesting.
