Tickets, etc.
Well, we've still got 14 days to go (yikes!), BUT we finally have our Phantom tickets for Friday night, which really completes the whole trip for me. Seeing Phantom at the Majestic is one of those "life goal" things I have, so I am super looking forward to this.
We also have our tickets for the Ferry/Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty and the NBC Tour on Day 1. And the flight is good to go. I just hope we're not stuck in airports forever.

Well we've drsatically changed a few things, including the dates, and we're working on narrowing down the itinerary. I had no idea that the Circle Line-Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island tours took so long! We have to be there two hours early (so 8:45 for our 10:45 tour) so that cuts into what we can do on Friday. But we already have tickets for it, plus the NBC Experience tour on Thursday. Yay!

im from ny, and i like your ideas! carnegie hall tours are not going right now.. i think they start again on sept 15th (from their website faq's)

I like this trip. Just wanted to know did you have a car? Or did you take taxi's/public transpotation? I won't have a car so I was just wondering if I'll be able to see all you saw without a car. Your input would be appreciated.

We didn't have a car--we did everything with taxis, on foot, and soem subway. I've driven into NYC before and man is it a pain.
