This is how I spent the night in the Philly airport after my flight to Zurich was cancelled due to a problem with the plane's air conditioner. It was 95 degrees with humidity when I landed at 3:30 pm and it wasn't much better when I finally laid down to get some sleep at 3:30 am. Thanks to my beloved mother, I was one of the few lucky souls to get a flight out the next day - 24 hours later. Except now, instead of flying directly to Zurich, I flew to Amsterdam and then to Zurich via Swiss Air - a far superior airline. Except for the extereme condensation from the US Airways flight from Philly to Amsterdam, (it literally was dripping water inside the cabin), and, a mild heart attack by one of the passengers, this flight was uneventful. Little did I know there was even more misadventure the airlines had in store for me. Needless to say, US Airways maintenance and service SUCKS!
