Boarding the ship (New York)
Boarding the ship in New York can be very hectic, be prepared to loose a few hours. It’s not worth complaining and harassing NCL staff since they have no control on anything. The port Authorities is driving the show. Luggages take a while to be delivered at your cabin, so it’s the time to familiarise with the boat. As the ship departs, you can watch New York from the decks.

I too went on a cruise that went to the Southern Caribbean. We went to Cruaco, Isla de marquarite, Barbados, Dominica, St. Thomas and back to florida. It was the best cruise ever. Our ship "Sun Princess" was outstanding and the cruise was very helpful. Our cabin person was so nice. He went out of his way to greet us and help us carry things. The ports along the way were interesting and the excursions were fun. The best one was the shore to shore bus tour around Barbados. Loved it loved it. The one that I like the least was the Tram ride into the rain forrest in Dominica. It was borning and we were eatten by bugs. We all were expecting animals (monkeys, birds, etc thing that you would find in rain forrects but nothing) Would highly recommend this trip to others.
