This was a spur of the moment, i-need-something-to-do-with-my-time decision. Here's how the conversation went. Sitting at my favorite coffee shop having lunch with my guy pal D
Me: I have so much time on my hands and nothing to do. Any ideas about an adventurous venture?
D: Go to Europe
Me: Don't have anyone to go with
D: So go alone. I did it when i was 17
Me: You did?
And so the plan was born. Now 4 weeks later, i am pondering my financial bind. I have already spent $639 on my round trip ticket, $130 round trip to cross from UK to the main continent, $513 on europass and $200 on a digital camera (I am not going to go to Europe and not have pictures to show for it). So now my reserves are spent. Savings account= empty, in case of emergency second checking account= $5, last paycheck=gone. I have only $400 for food and board, museum entry fees etc. Not nearly enough. I had bought some lottery tickets hoping to supplement my income and 2 days ago, for the first time in my life i won something...$10. YES!!! Not the amount I was hoping for, but something. So today i bought another super lotto plus and mega millions ticket for a chance at $10,000. So far that is where my cash flow seems to be coming from.
