America Trip 06/07
Sat 12/23/06 (day 1)
First Day
Disclaimer: This journal isnt for anyone who doesnt like to hear someone talk about food and day trips
An early start this morning -6am, afer last minute preparations we leave for the airport at 9, and get on the plane at 12pm
It was a long flight but we arrive at L.A at roughly 8am LA Time (3am Sunday melbourne time) After a long time at Customs we finally make it out of there at 10
It takes us an hour to get to our hotel in Anaheim, where we unpack and then go to Denny's across the road (food is described lower in the entry). Get back to out hotel room, and i collapse. 5 hours later i awake unsure of where i am. I go to my parent's room and see that they've brought us supplies for our time in L.A. We all go out to Marri's across the road (Big Bro gets attacked by a 5 yr old girl!!). Than we go to sleep for real
Food:
Lunch: Denny's - the first meal we had in the U.S. I had the chicken strips. A great way to have a first meal over there seing there's fried chicken everywhere over there. Also had my first Rasberry Nestea- delicious! My dessert? Oreo Milkshake, it's weird but every milkshake i had over there was actually 2 whole milkshake, definetly worth the price!
Dinner: Marri's- A had a mushroom bacon small (yeah right!) pizza. Very oily yet very american
