Flight over on Hawaiian was satisfactory. They still serve a meal, snack, and free soft drinks. Boeing 767 was a bit small, which caused for long lines at the bathroom. Despite a few bouts of turbulent weather, which the captain warned us beforehand, was overall smooth. I always fly Hawaiian, and next to JAL, they do a pretty good job.
Oce we flew in, got our bags, and called the Sleep Inn for a shuttle (tried to save a days worth of car rental as suggested in another blog,) It was about 9:45pm. Although the inn is only 2 miles away, it we waited out in the cold and it was not until a little after 10:45pm that we were picked up. When we called the Sleep Inn for the shuttle, the first call took 15 rings, but no answer. Called again, and the inn got impatient as they weren't getting an answer from me about what island to pick me up from, so put me on hold for 5 minutes, then I hung up. It was my first time flying to Seattle and I didn't understand what they meant when asked what Island? My wife then called again and they asked us to go up the parking structure (we ended up on the 4th floor) and we'll see the islands they were talking about, but no island. We then asked the Janitor and he said to go down the garage elevator to the third floor of the parking structure, and alas, we saw the islands. Although we were told there was alot of traffic (reason for shuttle being late,) it took less than five minutes to drive back to the inn.
Rooms were very small but clean. We ate dinner at IHOP located on the premises. Service & food was great, but a bit expensive.
