Day of arrival!
We flew out of Indy and arrived in Minneapolis around 1:30 in the afternoon. We checked our luggage so we had plenty of room to bring home our purchases! After collecting our bags, we caught the complimentary shuttle to our hotel, the Sheraton Bloomington. There was a large convention at the hotel while we were there but it didn't bother us much ( other than some slow elevators at times! ). The hotel was great and the beds were awesome. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to the Mall of America so that was great.
We took the 3:00 shuttle over and began exploring the mall. We didn't really have a game plan yet. We decided just to get the lay of the land and then really dig in on Saturday. We ate dinner at Kokomo's Cafe. It was really good but watch out for the spice in the beans and rice! After we ate, we took the 7:30 shuttle back to the hotel to rest up for Saturday!

The mall if 4 levels and is impossible to see all in one day (unless you are a great runner!)!!!

I am doing a 4 day mother daughter trip in June. Thanks for all the info on food. I wonder if you got to shop all four levels? My daughter is 13, so we will be doing "other stuff", too.
