St. Louis/Fort Lenoardwood

We only had two days to eplore the city.  We also had to fit in our son's graduation from Fort Lenoardwood.

We arrived early morning on Wed.  we rented a car from Avis with GPS the best thing that we could do, it takes right to the place so no guess work.

First we went to

The Old Court House "A must see"  it's free and the staff inside are very helpful.

Second  we walked to

The  Gate Archway, went through security, got tickets for the tram to go up,them went and visited the museum inside the building, did some souveneer shoping, then it was time to go to the top...What an experience

Third we drove to

The union Staion, an old RR station that is converted to unique shops and resturants.

then we got in the car for the 150 miles drive to Fort Lenoardwood.  As you drive to Lenoardwood you'll start see signs...many many signs for the Meramic Tavern, so we decided to see it on the way back.

We arrived to Fort lenoardwood, cheched in our hotel and head over to spend time with our son.
