Pancakery, Destin

My boyfriend and I tried this newer restaurant on St. Patrick s Day 2012. We relocate every 13 wks due to his job as an Occupational Therapist and have found very few great breakfast places. The Pancakery is one of the best!! The pancakes are huge, plate sized works of art! They are light yet filling and it was very difficult for this diabetic to decline any of the toppings. I chose to adhere to my diet and ordered a ham and cheese omelette with 3 sand dollar pancakes. As I said, the pancakes are terrific with just the right amount of sprinkled powdered sugar on top. The omelette was also huge and fully loaded with ham. I finished the pancakes and nearly half the omelette. I was stuffed but wanted more, more, more. !!!!! I can NOT wait to return and savor every bite of my next choice... my diet will just have to skip breakfast!!!
