Friendly Staff and Great food
Dinner here was excellent. I had the filet with gorgonzola cream sauce and pumpkin bisque for my appetizer...the flavors and portions were perfect. I would highly suggest the pumpkin cheesecake..layers of creamy flavor and not too sweet topped with whip cream. The wine list is affordable and the entire staff was attentive and nice.
Best menu, service, food, wine list, and ambience in all of Taos. Chef Lesley has thought of everything from kids menus, a menu for dogs called yappy hour for when the outdoor patio is open for dining, caters to gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian folks, and even offers a sugar free dessert, a cookbook with all of the favorite recipes to make at home......WOW. REALLY impressive place.
I come to Taos often for long weekend get aways....and Grahams will be a part of my trips from here on out.
My last day in Taos and I discover the best place to eat. We tried many places in Taos on our week long vacation and my wife and I are wondering how we missed this place.
We decided to share three dishes for lunch off of the small plates menu, the firecracker oysters, maple and bourbon bbq baby back ribs with sweet potato fries, and the mussels with chorizo. These dishes were perfectly plated, the oysters had a kick and I loved the candied peanuts. We ordered a bottle of the Kings Estate organic Pinot Gris, which was light and crisp. The flavors melded so well and we were so full, but just had to try the coconut brulee which was the perfect finish to a wonderful lunch experience.
Overall the service, food, and wine list were above excellent.
We had lunch last week at Graham's Grille in Taos, New Mexico. Upon arriving the ambience of the place itself was colorful, yet warm. The staff overall seemed happy to be there which made us feel welcome. We were seated graciously in the back room, which has high ceilings and has lots of light. We started with soup, Pumpkin Bisque..highly flavorful, full of texture and not overly creamy. For lunch we shared the lamb burger and a side salad. I was real impressed with the Wines By the Glass list...so much to choose from from all over the world at affordable prices. For dessert, we couldn't resist and had to try the pumpkin cheesecake..decadence on a plate.
Had brunch here last weekend. The crab and corn chowder was simply the best. And don't get me started on the pumpkin cheesecake. The wine list was impressive and reasonable in prices.
The waitstaff is super friendly.
As a vegetarian, I don’t eat meat. Most places you eat these days use meat based stocks for their soups for flavor, but Grahams Grille uses a vegetable based stock. Their black bean soup was so delicious. And my wonderful server informed me that not only could I buy the cookbook, “Straight from the Heart”, but the chef/owner Lesley Fay also had her own spice line which I could buy to season my black bean soup just like hers. Not only did I eat at Grahams for almost every meal on my trip, but I took a piece of Grahams home with me. I can’t wait to make this delicious soup when I return home.
The calamari is by far the best I have tasted in all of New Mexico. The menu has so many choices! The wine list is spectacular.
Lesley, the chef, even stopped by our table to check on us. Her husband, Peter seated us. They have an in house Sommelier, Jake, and our server, John was super professional.
We ordered the trout and the rib eye. The veggies were fresh, and the meats are all hormone free and wild caught, not farm raised fish. We were so impressed that we went back for breakfast the next morning before leaving Taos.
The french toast is a must have. It is a piece of art. The traditional eggs benedict had the best hollandaise sauce ever.
We LOVE Grahams
Fun place with great food.
It's casual dining, and a fun atmosphere. The Pumpkin soup is a must try. It is creamy without being overly creamy. The pumpkin seeds sprinkled on top give it an amazing texture. The calamari is tender and not overly breaded with a dip that has hints of lime. My favorite part is that for Taos, this place is reigns in cleanliness. I was happy to recognize that the owners care about offering the freshest and best ingredients.
