I was very disappointed with this restaurant overall. My wife and I tried it out because I like to try local brews. First off, the beer was terrible. I first ordered a pilsner, and it was so cloudy I couldn t see through it. I know a little about beer and pilsner s are known for their clarity due to lack of impurities. What I got could not have been a pilsner, but they only had two beers and I ordered both, so I know I didn t get the wrong beer. When I tasted it, it had a very antiseptic aftertaste which gave me the impression they didn t wash the tanks properly before brewing. I gave up on it and tried their red, which also had the same problem. This just shows complete disregard for the brewing process when you sell beer you know is bad. The food was pretty good, overall. My wife and her step-dad liked their meals, but I didn t care for mine. It could have been because of the bad taste in the back of my throat from the beer, but the clams just didn t taste good and the sauce that was used to steam the clams was really watery. Normally when I order muscles/clams with linguine, the sauce is thickened a little for the linguine. I wish I could say the service was good, but I don t think I saw a single employee over the age of 25, were very disorganized, and our waiter didn t know the menu or beer selection very well. We had to ask about our salads after the main course arrived because we never received them, and its not like the restauarant was busy (maybe half full). I wish the food and service were good enough to excuse the horrible beer, but I will never go back to this place and my wife and her step-dad agree.
