I took my kids to the restaurant today to have dinner. We have never been there and will NEVER go back. The kids started serving themselves and I went to serve myself white rice when I scooped a spoon on to my plate I notice a ROACH in the rice; I thought I was going to throw up. I told the lady that cleaning around the buffet area, all this women did was remove the ROACH and mix the rice. The place dosen t even deserve one star...
I will NOT be returning ever again! I was asked to go once with a group and a second time with a friend s family. It is one of the worst self serve buffets I d ever experienced. But, today took the cake.
My daughter wanted to go on Father s Day after seeing a coupon in the paper for a $7.99 dinner versus the usual Sunday cost of $9.49. I agreed and took the coupon with me. When we arrived they had posted Father s Day special for $14.99 that included crab legs. Well, my daughter and I were not interested in eating any crab legs, and therefore did not. When we received our check, I had the coupon laying on the table. The waitress advised that she could not accept, as it was a HOLIDAY . I asked what holiday was it, and she replied Father s Day . I immediately advised that Father s Day is not a Federal Holiday and that I would like my coupon accepted. She went and got another worker to come and speak with me. He spoke better English and said the same thing. I again advised that Father s Day is NOT a Federal Holiday...it is an observance by some, but NOT a Holiday. He said I could speak with the cashier on the way out or the manager and maybe something could be done. I asked him to have the manager come see me at the table. The manager, a female, came over and advised that it was a Holiday and that they would not be accepting the coupon on a Holiday as that was what was printed on the coupon. I again advised that Father s Day is NOT an Official Federal Holiday and that if they did not want to accept the coupon, then that information should have been posted up with all the notices advertised about the Father s Day crab leg specials. At that time, she said she would not take the coupon, because I had eaten on that holiday. As she said this, she pointed to the check and brought to my attention that I had been charged $14.99 per person despite the fact that we did not eat any crab legs!! (That never happened to me at any other place where crab legs are offered, but not consumed). I was amazed! I said, we didn t eat any of the crab legs, why are we being charged as such? And she replied that she could bring the cost to $11.99/per person, but, would not be accepting the coupon. I immediately looked at my daughter and said we will not be returning here again . She shook her head in agreement.
As provided in the other ratings, the food is mediocre. The rice is dry. The meat is cooked hard. The floors are dirty, if not slippery from mediocre cleaning. Each time I ve been there, the tables are poorly cleaned and the excess food from the table ends up in the chairs/bench. The only good thing about it is the available parking because it took over a previous wings and sports bar.
I would not and will not recommend to anyone. Next time, we will go to a China Buffet!
i go there alot. and well the food is good dapending on the time you get there i mean if u get there near opening the food is grate every thing is fressh around that time but near 6 to 7 is when there food starts to go down hill luch time is the best time to go grate hug salecktion to pick from
if they could get the food to begood not just at lunch time but even cloes to closing i would give them a five star
We took the family on a Wednesday evening. Never been before. Neighbor suggested going she said it was great. We sat and ordered our drinks and took the kids to get thier plates. Great selection, but not fresh. All the meats and rice were dry and the fried foods were all old. We didn't go to eat dinner rolls but my sonn wanted one, they were hard as a rock. The fruit looked fresh, that was all. the Hibachi grill wasn't bad. The desserts were aweful and the ice cream is self serve ice cream that you scoop yourself. All I could think was all the hands that have reached in the buckets that might be unwashed. I took a sip of my drink and there was something caked on the inside of my glass. Mmmmm... Just what I wanted! I unwrapped my silverware to find food stuck to them. The pink bowls used for icecream and sauces were caked with food. I spent $52.00 on my family to pick at a buffet then return home to feed them again. To say the least I will not be returning anytime soon.
