1001nights Restaurant, Brooklyn

I absolutely LOVE 1001 Nights Restaurant - it is one of my favorite restaurants in the city - I keep hoping that it will stay open forever - go check it out if you haven t already. 1001 Nights Restaurant has your basic Mediterranean staples - hummus, kebabs, dolma, etc. - but it also has some unique items that I haven t had anywhere else. The service is always impeccable - and the place is usually pretty quiet - esp. for dinner - it is easy to converse with your companion. I ve also come in here many times when I am feeling under the weather for one of their soups and a cup of steaming fresh mint tea - with the actual fresh mint leaves - soooo good - and really hit the spot when you are congested. At those times I ask for extra broth on the soup, and they are happy to oblige. All in all, a delightful find in the city and one that I would recommend to anyone - I ve had many special meals here since it opened!

We happened to choose 1001 Nights Restaurant to eat after watching a movie. As soon as we walked in, the waiter greeted us with such a nice welcome and not a fake one either. It was really genuine and refreshing, so that was the first major thumbs up in my book. Nothing like real smile and hello when you walk in...Then we sat down and right away we had water, warm bread, and very nice server to ask us about drinks. I liked the plove very much as well as lagman soup both was amazing. We will be back very soon here.

Ordered food for pickup at 1001 Nights Restaurant. The guy who took my order was super nice and efficient on the phone and also super nice at pickup. The food was really good too Parmuda samsa, was just perfect! I have ordered Chuchvara & dolmas also both were very nice. Good portions of food. My new go-to Mediterranean food place.

My friends took me here for my birthday and it was awesome. Our server was very attentive and the food was amazing. I loved what I ordered but I also loved what everyone else ordered. They had no problem accommodating all 8 of us. We probably could have even had a bigger group and it would have been just as great. This is the perfect place to have a birthday dinner. I m going to eat there every single day for the rest of my life...well, that s not true but that s how I felt on my birthday.

1001 Nights Restaurant is consistently good. Friendly service. Even when they are busy, they are attentive. The food always delicious. Tasty and fresh seafood, unlike many other places. The spicy Chalakhach is tasty. Their dishes are very authentic middle-eastern dishes like Wild rice, Khanum & samsa, shish kebabs. If you haven t seen their belly dancing please do. It s a wonderful experience to watch the beautiful dancers performing the best belly dancing in NYC.

Went 1001 Nights Restaurant late on a Sunday night - completely full with customers - was worried about that how they will handle the rush, but Wow - was I surprised. The waiter and chef were awesome. We ordered the Shish Kebab which had all the good stuff - each item was excellent. The best overall experience for this cuisine I ve had in the city. Hummus, dolma, tahini, wild rice you name it - we wiped that plate clean. The mixed kabob plate for 4 persons which comes with 8 skewers was cooked to perfection. Seriously… The chicken was top notch - juicy and flavorful. The lamb was the softest I ve had in a long time - the beef was excellent. Every person in my family said this was the best they ve had. And the 4 person’s meat plate along with the appetizers was plenty for a family of 7. We ordered 1 rice side dish and the chef threw in another for free - nice touch! Over all wonderful experience with the great food & service.

The main reason I want to give 1001 Nights Restaurant 5 stars is its owned by a wonderful person and run business with 100% dedication for great food, customers satisfaction at decent prices. I ve been here a few times in the past and will keep coming back for dinner. Like I said the food is really good and is also authentic. Our waitress was really nice and explained all the different dishes to us and how they prepare them back in their hometown. I d recommend the shawarma plate or wrap, so good! They also have really good chicken shish kebabs and other main plates. Desserts are very authentic and delicious. Great Place for Middle Eastern Cuisines.

1001 Nights Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant. They serve the best Middle Eastern food with many options for vegetarians. Their weekend brunch beats every place in the hood. From kebabs to lentil soup to fresh appetizers like Dolma, Khasyp, Chuchvara & many delicious dishes, you can t go wrong. Belly dancing is worth to watch & it’s very entertaining. Nice place for wonderful food & entertainment.

Amazing!! Since we are not local, we have only been two times. My husband and I LOVE this restaurant!!! Prices are very good. Service is great! We had the same waitress 2 months later and she remembered us!!!!! That is HUGE in our book. We have ordered our favorite appetizers Khanum, Khasyp & shish kebab, samsa all were out of the world I have never had such delicious kebobs ever. The service is always smooth whenever we visited here; the staff & owner are very nice, polite. We will back 1001 Nights Restaurant on our next trip to Brooklyn.

One of my important client is die hard fan of Middle Eastern Cuisines..i was in search of best Middle Eastern restaurant for a official dinner meeting i found 1001 night in Google i planned a official dinner with my client and guess what the meeting is successful and my client is very happy with the food and arrangements..thanks 1001 nights.
