Fantastic food and great service. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have dined here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. It is not fast food, or diner food, so relax and enjoy a delicious meal in a very pleasant atmosphere.
This is a excellent restaurant! We have been eating there since they opened and have tried several items on the brunch, lunch and dinner menus and they have all been great! Vance and Eve and the rest of their family make you feel at home. We've also recommended the Union Brasserie to several of our family members and friends and they all have been impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual, yet up scale dinning experience!
Sorry about The Meteor's experience. I suppose that can happen anywhere. I look for consistency, becasue you can always catch a restaurant on a bad day. I eat here about once a week, and have never been disappointed. They treat me like family, the owner and his wife, along with their staff are wonderful. I typically don't eat heavy, so I am not privy to their heavier dishes, but what I have had has been great - the roasted chicken, NY strip, nicoise salad, and their cobb salad. All excellent. Their wine list is also very good for a brasserie type of eatery.
Get to know them and you will feel like you are eating with friends and family.
Went for dinner on a Friday night. The interior was clean and looked nice. I ordered the Pork Schnitzel and my wife had the pork chop. Our salad was a caprese, that was excellent My wife's dish was nearly raw, with pork that is a big faux pas. After 10 minutes our waiter came back to the table and my wife asked for a different dish (we had to leave in 45 minutes from that point). The owner came and assured us that their sous chef had cooked 5 dishes that were sub-par and this was the last. Why wait 5 dishes before firing him? My schnitzel was tasteless and overcooked. The potatoes were good. Living near-by we were hoping this would be a nice addition to fine dining in Lakewood, unfortunately, I would rather go to 240 Union, Cafe Prague or the Little Russian.
The owner was quite nice and removed the raw pork from the bill.
