Depalma's Italian Restaurant
We are a mother and daughter owned Italian restaurant on the Eastside of Indianapolis. We have lived here and worked here for many years. We opened our doors in 2010 with the goal to provide genuine Italian dining at an affordable cost. We pride ourselves on our housemade foods and believe that we offer fine dining at an affordable cost using recipes that have been handed down to us from several generations of Italian chefs. Our Legacy DePalma is the maiden name of Frances Bozzelli, daughter of Italian immigrants, member of Our Lady of Loudes Parish and resident of Irvington for over 50 years. Frances DePalma Bozzelli raised nine children and has over 40 grandchildren and great grandchildren who still work, play and live on the Eastside. She was an inspiration to all the people who knew her, and even to those who had only met her once. She was a loving, generous and kind woman with an open kitchen and open heart. Many of her recipes you will find on our menu. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy preparing and serving them for you. Grace & Mangia!
My husband and I were out for a nice dinner and thought we would try it because we heard great things about it. We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated right away. We were seated at a cozy table and our server appeared at out table (Chris) and told us about the special of the night. It was a crab stuffed ravioli with a cream sauce ... Chris sold me on it with how enthusiastically he described the dish (and it was AMAZING!) My husband ordered the lasagna and raved about how great it was for the last few days! I need the recipe so I can cook like the chef! I recommend Depalma's to everyone I meet and cant wait to enjoy the food again!!
I ate at DePalma's for the first time tonight. I had been trying to make it to this place since in opened a few months ago. I had a house salad to start and the cheese ravioli for my entree. It was superb! This is definitely a welcomed addition to the city and local neighborhood. Try their wines too! They have a great selection. I will return very soon!
The food was good, but expensive considering the serving size. We asked for rolls several times before getting 4 little hard rolls for 6 people. Service was slow, but very polite servers. Will probably try again for lunch sometime.
