Woody's Diner, Laguna Hills

Recognizing the slowdown in our economy, Woody’s Diner of Laguna Hills has fought back the recession by offering an array of discounted specials. This casual and comfortable restaurant with a surfing motif offers a coffee shop menu providing many options. They begin with a substantial breakfast menu. I must say that their Denver omelet is absolutely the best I have ever had. For lunch or dinner I question if you can find a tastier hamburger or chicken dish anywhere. Seriously delicious! With each visit, I have been impressed with the young waiters and waitresses, always smiling and willing to assist. They set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. Comfortable seating, ample lighting, and a full bar serving beer, wine and alcohol with daily specials at low, low prices.Located in the Trader Joe’s shopping center there is ample parking within a short distance from the restaurant. If you enjoy outdoor dining Woody’s has a charming patio area. Management has definitely recognized the economic downtown by offering the following specials that literally fill their restaurant on most evenings. My favorite is “Buy One Entrée Get one Free.” On Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays between 3 and 6PM patrons receive $4.00 off the list price of any dinner. If you are burger lover, you must try Woody’s Wednesday night special “Buy one burger get one Free.” Be prepared to wait on line for the restaurant fills to the brim each and every Wednesday. Try it once and you may find yourself coming back week after week. We are fortunate to have so many fine restaurants in our area. Woody’s diner is my favorite for casual dining, low prices and pleasant surroundings. Written for a writing class I attend.
