We just ate dinner there tonight for the first time. Two of us had two different dishes. My wife had the grouper oscar with a crab cake. She said it was excellent. Only negative is that the asparagus was cold and the price was way too high. ($27.00)
I had the chicken picatta with lemon sauce. I found the portion was meager, the price high, and the lemon sauce was too strong. Neither meals came with a salad, which would have been a nice touch considering the price we paid.
Lisa met us as we were seated and lingered a little too long at the table explaining the different dishes of the evening. We felt this was a little over pressured and took away from the waiters job. Clearly she is trying hard and we commend her from knowing the menu so well.
One last thought, even though it is a beach like setting, we both thought that she could have been dressed a little more appropriate as the owner and up-front person. (Old jeans, baggy shirt, and long untamed hair not pulled back).
Waiter, I believe his name was Anthony, did a great job.
Great location, outside seating, and absolutley the worst food posible. And its way too expensive for what you get. I am all for supporting the local bussiness and trying to find a little gem, but this is not one of them.
Hope they will learn at least how to cook french fries properly if they want to stay in business. My fries were cooked in a low temperature and turned out very greasy, black, soft and almost raw.. Any fast food places would do a better job. And the price? Ridiculous!
