The food is always good here. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. It tends to be noisy and crowded. The food takes a bit longer than expected every time, but I think it is enjoyable for an omelett or eggs, bacon and potatoes. Remember this a breakfast type restaurant, and although they serve other food as well, I would stick to the breakfast items
I have to say that this is one Ihop that I enjoy. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve, the location makes it convenient as well. The service is a 4 out 5 and the food is always spot on at least to me. I always leave with the same good impression that I walk in with :)
I love IHOP pancakes and the pancakes here are very similar to the ones I have eaten at many other IHOP's. In fact one of the great things about IHOP is the consistency. One batch of blueberry pancakes in one place will be pretty much like the ones in any other IHOP.
This particular IHOP is relatively new and is quite large and spacious inside so you have room to spread out. The waitress we had was very professional and polite and made sure our orders were correct.
The one negative is that this restaurant tends to be very crowded. Maybe not a during the middle of the night, but a wait was necessary all the times we have visited. Sometimes a short wait sometimes not so short. But I guess I really can't blame a restaurant for being popular.
Went to this IHOP this morning & was never treated so rudely in my life. I m visiting for the Chicago area & today was my granddaughters birthday. When she got up this morning, she wanted IHOP for her breakfast, so my son, daughter-in-law, 3 grandkids, & myself drove up the road for pancakes. We waited about 20 minutes & my son said that to save some time on this busy Saturday, he d take his sons for a haircut right next to the IHOP. He got a menu from the man standing at the hostess podium & told his wife what to order for him in case they didn t get back by the time we were seated. The 2 boys also told mom what they wanted. A few minutes later, they called our number. When the man saw that there were only 3 of us, he told us that he would not seat us until they returned. We tried to explain that they were coming right back, & that we had their orders ready to avoid the restaurant from not being able to turn the table in a timely manner. The man basically told us too bad. When my daugher-in-law asked to speak with a manager, he told her to contact the IHOP.com complaint line. She then asked for his name, & he ignored her. At this time, she went to the cashier & asked for contact information to file a complaint. I tried to talk to the man & he told me I am done talking to you . At this time a manager finally appeared, and after talking to her for several minutes, she finally sat us. We asked the manager, cashier, & server all for the man s name & no one would tell us. Since he was not wearing a name tag, we finally seduced that he was probably the owner. Easpecially since he disappeared for the remainder of our visit. Regardless of who he was, it is always corporate policy for a name to be given when a customer requests it. The whole time I was trying to speak to this ingrate, he kept calling table numbers, & looked through me as though I weren t there. I m sorry, but this is totally unacceptable at any business. Our server was wonderful and knew ahead of time that we were likely going to be disgruntled customers to begin with. She did a great job, & was compensated accordingly. This is something that the man at the front of the store should be considering when turning customers away because of a policy. Policies are NOT laws written in stone, & I know that we certainly won t be returning there. BTW, the manager did a great job in settling the situation, & she should be commended for allowing the policy of the store to be stretched according to the situation.
The service was SUPER EXCELLENT. As soon as my fiance and I walked in, we were greeted by someone who was working in one of the dining rooms. We came in on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn't super busy, but there was a good amount of patrons in the restaurant.
As we were seated, the waitress asked for our beverage order and came back promptly and poured coffee for the both of us. She told us the specials and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't, so she gave us a few more minutes.
Our order was put in, and served in under 10 minutes. (WOW). Our server was super great about checking on us, and even let us know that she was needed in the other dining room and told us our new server's name. (I can't remember either names.)
I love IHOP, but the service made me love THIS IHOP.
So, my best friend and I decided to make the pilgrimage to the staple of our childhoods, IHOP. We got there around 11am and the wait was about 20-30 minutes for a party of 2, which was no surprise because this place is always packed.
Once we sat down our waitress who was super nice immediately took our orders and the food arrived in perfect time and was delicious for a typical breakfast, I was very pleased with the service and experience. I've been to this location a few times and have always had a good time - minus the wait for the tables.
IHOP was and still is a fav of mine. NY Cheesecake pancakes with strawberry syrup my friends.... nuf said.
Oh... and I almost forgot, IT'S CHEAP! Bill for two was $21 (and that's probably steep by IHOP standards).
Food speaks for itself. One thing I like after a meal is to feel like I had one, and I did. Coffee also speaks for itself. I really enjoyed the coffee, could use some now. It's really warm there, service is like something out of a five star hotel. The waitress was really cool. really courteous. Not much to say except can't wait to try the strawberry and whip cream toppings, how does that sound? :-)
I looove IHOP! You can't beat the Rooti Tooti Fresh N' Fruity. The griddle cakes are exceptionally fluffy and lite. This is about the only place I can go and eat everything on my plate. The only thing is their meat is all pork. I wish they had a substitute for the pork but other than that....I love this place =)~
Pros: affordable, plenty variety, finger lickin good!
Cons: you're stuffed!, only pork, gets crowded on weekends
Now lets be serious, this is IHOP, what kind of expectations should you have. Me and my buddies go here almost 2x a week for a very late night cup of coffee, and some sort of breakfast. Its very relaxed, we always get awesome service, the manager always visits and asks how we are doing. Sometimes its a bit crazy, and if you go on a weekend night, your bound to see some mind boggling things, but all in all, for the money you pay, where else can you sit back late at night drinking coffee, eating strawberry cheesecake pancakes **AMAZING BTW**, and just talk with some friends in a cozy atmosphere.
