The location in Laughlin is interesting and scenic, and the decor is historic and fun. Unfortunately the food was very hit and miss with out party of 6. Three meals were edible but didn t receive any rave reviews. The other three meals were in one word cold . Our complaint to the waitress resulted in the food being replaced in 5 minutes....it was as cold as the first. The manager made good on his offer to zero charge for the meals. The server got her tip as she was trying hard to please but couldn t overcome the lack of skill in the kitchen. It appears that they were under-staffed and rushed the service.
Disappointed sums up my experience. The pricing was 5 star, but the food was 1 star. Out of the 3 meals served to our table, not 1 we could say it didn't have a problem. To sum up our meals, the clam chowder was thin and lacked clams or potatoes, no oyster crackers for the soup, the corn on the cob was uneatable, the shrimp tough as jerky, the portion size on fish and chips was stingy, and the crab cake tasted like over-seasoned Thanksgiving Turkey dressing. Should have gone to Mc Donald's for a fish sandwich.
