I agree with the other reviewer. This was the worst wine tasting experience I have ever had. The man was down right rude to my husband and I. I felt as if our visit was an inconvenience to him. He didn't utter one word about the wines other than 'sweet' or 'dry'. I had expected to buy a few cases to hand out at the holdiays but did not based on this poor customer experience.

We were on our way for a day trip to Rehoboth Beach and decided to check out the vineyard. We walked into the "wine shop" and the gentlemen behind the counter shouted, "Have you been here before?" We stated, "No." He then told us, "Go back outside, take the tour and THEN you will come back here." Ok. Once we made it around the self-guided tour, we were back in the wine shop. Now, there was a woman at the counter. We looked at the wine selection and she stood there and stared at us. No interaction, she just stood there. It's to everyone's benefit to describe the wine and get the "taster" excited. Once we had a few tastes of the wine we selected and enough of the feeling like we were bothering her, we bought the 2006 Cab & left. If you are looking for a wine tasting, go to VaLa in Avondale, PA. They are very welcoming. And the wine is paired with select local artisan cheeses. SOOO worth the drive.

Nassau Valley was tucked away from all the busyiness that was taking place around the beach. Could not believe how cheap the wines were when I looked at the price list. They also had an excellent self guided tour that was FREE.
