The 49-passenger M/V Heritage departs daily from downtown Portsmouth for narrated cruises of Portsmouth Harbor, spectactular trips to the Isles of Shoals, and excursions up the inland rivers to Great Bay or up the Cocheco River to Dover. Also available for private charter. Full bar and galley onboard. Operating since 1982.

Best harbor tour! From R.E. Groton ct.

I read the reviews about this tour and decided we had to try it. It was excellent in everyway. Of couse the weather was perfect, which helps, but what really stands out in this harbor tour is the narration. It was very interesting and entertaining. The combination of a beautiful harbor, boat and topnotch actor / narrator made thsi a highlite of visiting Portsmouth. Highly recommend!

Informative trip

Tour guide was very well-informed. Trip we took was just about the right length (1.5 hrs). Personable staff. On a streaming hot summer day, this was just the break we needed.

Most Excellent and Well Worth the Trip

Had a fabulous time on the Harbour cruise. My family and I enjoyed it immensely. This was NOT your typical, cheesy tourist trappy kind of boat ride I've experienced elsewhere. The crew was friendly and helpful and the captain's narration was humorous, intelligent and delightful. Next time we come to Portsmouth, we'll be doing this again for sure!
