Great experiences at BOTH Shirt Shops!
We are on the island a bunch, and first found the WW Crest Shirt Shop. We liked the designs on the shirts, they lasted (still wearing stuff from 3 summers ago!), and we liked the relaxed attitude of the staff and local focus. It doesn't feel like a one-size-fits-all boardwalk shop where everything's the same as the next shop down and it's all tiny and poor quality - because it isn't! These are real clothes made to fit real people and stand up to real washing machines.
More recently we go to the NWW store, and we go there more often because we stay in NWW. I saw that the WWC shop is now an "outlet store" but it wasn't open when we went by so I'm not sure what that means. But in NWW, I've met the owners, their dogs, and the other staff and friends who frequent it, and over time they've become like family. They are SO nice. SO willing to accommodate. Once they sent me shirts in the mail and a bill, knowing I'd pay - they didn't demand my credit card upfront! I've gotten shirts made from them - where I'd had a t-shirt with a design I wanted but the shirt itself was too small or too ratty, and they've done an excellent job putting it on a new shirt or tank top. Also - and this is huge (no pun intended) - they have ALL sizes up to 5X. So if you are a larger person you can get t-shirts and shirts in sizes that fit you, and they are just there among the general population of stuff, so you don't have to go to any kind of "special size" section or anything. You will pay more than you do on the boardwalk, but it lasts. And when they have sales, they really have sales.
Can ya tell I like this place? It's really the ONLY shop we go to every single time we're in WW, so we can see what's new in the designs, chat with the owners, check on the dogs.
