Laser Quest, Akron

My family and some friends just recently enjoyed another two hours of fun filled amusement at the Fairlawn Laser Quest. From the word go........it is on. People of all ages, size, and skill level, battle feverously to "laser tag" any and all participating in the game. By the way, you can not judge a book by its' cover certainly applies here. Players continue to impress me with their skill levels. You never know who is going to be the "Best" n any one session. With all that said, I would like to thank John Cyrus " The Oracle " for showing us the potential savings afforded us by becomming yearly members. His helpful attitude is certainly to be commended. Also, I would like to thank " Izzy " for all the helpful pointers that you have aquired through your years of skillful tournament and leisured play. Once again thankyou for all your help. The facility is a mecca for fun. Please take your family and friends out for a night of fun beyond any normal expectation. A special shout out to TenLetters, Medic E, and Emphillum(sp) ......I will be back.....lol Uncle Grizz

well, i may not be that old, but as i recall, kids of almost all ages love laser quest. young and old, middle aged to other aged, people would come in and leave satisfied. Yes its a little pricey but hey, isnt it worth it to see a child smile and leave happy? but it wasnt just the children who had fun, the adults too should alos like laser quest, they get to bond and beat other people in the game of sniping. but all and all, it is a great place to see in akron that i recommend personaly.

I've played at many places and Laser Quest seems to have the best equipment. There's no recharging and you don't have to hold your hand on a heat sensor on the unit to keep it working. The staff were also very bubbly and energetic.

I live in the area, and have played here for about 7 years. I've played laser tag at other places like Fun'n'Stuff. Its ok there but its nothing compared to Laser Quest! They just repainted the arena, and remodeled. The arena is multi-leveled in the form of three large towers of a couple hundred square feet each with the center of the arena open, so you can shoot those below. They have fog for special effects, such as seeing the laser beams like on Star Wars. Each vest fits nicely, and they rarely ever break down. There are seven places to hit people: front, back, both shoulders, front and sides of the laser. They have a supervisor in each, and every game to keep order in the arena. They brief you before each game, and have you recite the players code of ethics.(rules) They also have a arcade. They have monthly lock-ins which allow you to play all night from Midnight, to 6AM. They have a membership program that gives special discounts, and a free game when you join, renew, and on your birthday! It cost $25 to join, and $15 to renew, so it pays back quickly! The membership lasts a whole year too! They have a computer that tracks each members stats, and allows you to check your rank, best scores, and other stats, and compare to other members. They also have a weekly members only night, where you can play special theme games that non-members can't! They also do birthdays, you can even rent the place out for a big party, with your coworkers, friends, and even weddings! (there's a minimum number of participants though.) They also have 4 different game varieties (8 for members) I should stop here since I'm getting too lengthily, and I could go on for ever. Its the best laser-tag game ever, and you should definitely come here if your in the area. Its just off I-77 so you can even stop by on your way home from vacation.
