Awful boat
By anthony m, 09/08/09
The boat was dirty. There was 1 mate for 30 people, who did nothing anyway. I was taking my owm fish off the hook. 1 bait bucket was used from 7 am to 4 pm. It was suppose to be a "JUMBO FLUKE AND SEA BASS" trip which the captain quickly converted to a lets get some scup trip. Ater a few hours of 1 keeper fluke and 0 sea bass they decided to storm the scup. I wanted fluke not scup. They went as far as changing my rig to a scup rig after my fluke rig was lost on a pile of rocks 20 feet down in front on BI fishing for SCUP. Its so insane that anyone would ever give the frances fleet a dime. Today was my 3rd and final trip. I wanted to prolong the fluke season a little longer, what a waste of 100 dollars. I hat to do a straight up comparison but the SEVENBs crushes the frances fleet in every way imaginable.Do yourself a favor sail the SEVENBS.......

sardine can
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/08
I love fishing even if the fishing isn"t good. The attitude of the personnel from the person who sells the tickets,to the most of the employees and captain is definity not customer friendly.customers were leaving the office while others who had boarded left the boat for refunds. We were packed like sardines,3 out of the 4 deckhands did little to help, kids of the deckhands manning the grill and unsupervised.one of the handful of times I just wanted to stop fishing and go home. But don:t forget to tip evryone!!You can guess what I say to that.

poor to fair fishing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
I've been on this boat numerous times and haven't seen any great fishing on the boat. The fishing has ranged from poor to fair at best. My biggest complaint though is the practice of the captain and mates fishing alongside paying customers instead of working to help out the customers. I have much better luck on other party boats.

to some one missed the boat
By Joseph, 03/29/08
not only did you miss the boat, it was a graet fishing trip. lots of room at the rail and the morning bite was graet with cod coming over the rails in bunches. this was the first time that i fished with them, and you must of been the 10 people that were in the lot complaining at 4:30 am. i almost did not get on the boat because i thuoght more people like you would be on the boat. you dont have a clue on what it take to run a head boat. this was the first time that i fished on a head boat in over five years, the reason is after owning one for twenty years, people like you made me quit...i noticed a few private charter boats that would love to take you out for more money and room.thanks to capt. mike and crew my son and i will be back..(how much muney do you think they made with the wind blowing for the past three weeks?)

Someone missed the boat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/08
I understand that it costs alot to run a party boat but stuffing them on like sardines is crazy. At least 25 people did not board an already over crowded Cod fishing boat in early March. Someone should have known too expect a large crowd and had the other boat ready to go also. They missed out on 25 or more people at 80.00 a head. We could have gone out but it would have been crazy with 60 people on one boat fighting for space at the rail is not my idea of fun.

My favriot trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/06
The Frances Fleet's wide assortment of fishing trips makes it a great trip for anyone interested in a day of fishing. Not only can you go fishing but they also offer whale watching and fireworks crusises depending on the time of the year. I can't wait to go back and catch a few more nice sized fish.
