Oasis Salon and Spa, Middletown

I used to work there and was told by a third party that the owners were not paying their taxes and were shut down by the government. That would explain the sudden closing with no notice and no information. Apparently, the owners were just as surprised by the closing.

I was a LONG time patron of this facility and was shocked to see they are closed. I see from the reviews that others are finding the same with no answers. You might want to go to Turn to 10 or Eyewitness News especially if you are holding a useless gift card. I called Turn to 10 to see what they knew and they wanted to hear from people that were left holding the bag. This may be a good way to find out what happened, ways to file claims or even another local salon that may want to help during this season of giving.

Jenifer the same thing has happened to me! I was given a two hundred dollars on a gift cetificate and only got to use 100!! I went back to use the other half and now they are closed down with no explantion. I think is very rude and unfair! can some one please help me?!?

I went to go use my gift certificate and they are closed up. Thier website is still up, but you can only contact them by phone and they are not answering. There is no email address. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I want to know where they are and how to get my money back, even if I have to file as a creditor. Now, its the principle, they could at least have a sign on the door explaining the situation. Anyone know anything? Thanks.

The first time I went to Oasis was for a facial which included a shoulder, arm and hand massage which I didn't get. At check out I told the receptionist the massage was skipped. She simply told me she would deduct $5. I went again recently because I had a gift certificate for $100 so I scheduled the 90 minute facial. It ended after 65 minutes. Unaware of how long I had been laying there I realized I had been cheated on time when the esthetician left the room. Again I told the receptionist that I didn't get the full hour and a half and she said, "I'll take $10 off". I will NEVER go back and would not recommend this spa.
