Montpelier Elks Country Club, Montpelier

I recently attended an event at the club, meaning somebody had paid to rent the facility for a family event, a baby shower. In the middle of the festivities a member came into the hall and very rudely announced that she was looking for the owner of a dog that was barking outside. The young woman raised her hand and said the dog was hers. The member then proceeded to inform us in her very rude and low class manner that they were about to call the police if the woman didn't do something about her dog. The appropriate action would have been to approach the person renting the room, quietly ask her to notify the owner of the dog that it was causing a disturbance and needed to be attended to. I will never, ever use that facilty for any event. For people who think they are all it, gotta tell you, they are very low class!!!!
