Shed Restaurant & Brewery, Stowe

We have been to The Shed many years ago. When in Stowe we decided to go for lunch. When we got to the main dining room we met a couple leaving that said the dining room wasn't open. We had seen someone eating so decided to go in. We talked to another person that said she had been waiting to be seated and she finally went looking for someone. Still no one found we went into the pub and decided to eat there. The food was OK but sure was not worth the price. The ribs on the appetizer platter we culd not eat. When we were leaving I went into dining room again and a couple was standing there and they asked if we had seen anyone that worked there. I laughed and told them if I was them I would not wait any longer. We stopped at a winery on our way home and the girl asked how our day was. I said that we had been to The Shed and she asked what we thought. After hearing my story she told me last time they went to The Shed after 15 minutes of waiting they had walked out. I don't know how a business can keep going like this.

I was very impressed with The Shed. It was an excellent meal and the prices were very resonable. I would recommend it to local people as well as tourist and I know I will be going back myself. HATS OFF to a very fine restaurant. Tracie D
