Matterhorn Bar, Stowe

This place is where to go after a day on the slopes. They have the best Apres ski food & atmoshere around. If you are with group, order some wood grilled pizzas (the best in Stowe), Wings and some outstanding Sushi.They also provide great live music to dance to, or just sit back and enjoy. If you prefer a quiter atmoshere they have the Martini bar overlooking the river which is beautiful. Alot of the locals hangout at the "horn". Enough said!!! If you don't like this place, you need an attitude adjustment!!!

Yes,the place is a little hole in the wall,small, with a postage sized dance floor BUTTTT!!! since the late 1960's it has consistently had the very best in music.And if you are dancing fools,like my wife and I, you'll forgive the cramped quarters and occasional splinter in my toes[i dance in my socks] for a chance to see some great name bands in a small freindly bar.See Ya There Socks&Mrs.Socks
