Spa By The Sea

What a great time and experience!! My nail.tech (Kitty) was a hoot. She gave the best leg and foot massage I've ever had. BEST pedicure ever!! My massage was done by Alisa. She was/is amazing and knowledgeable. Jeff did my hair and I felt like a princess when he was done and it looked and felt wonderful. Best gift my husband ever gave me. Though there was a snag with the card, I couldn't see taking it out on the employees. They were gracious and welcoming. Can't wait to see them soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know that has a gift card from Spa By The Sea make sure you can use it before you get your service. The new owner apparently is picking and choosing (maybe according to service)whether she is going to accept cards sold or given by previous owner.I think it is poor business to not make patrons aware ahead of time that card wasn't going to be accepted.Something should be posted.My gift card wasn't even 6 months old.Appparently new owner got screwed by previous owner regarding a lot of gift cards that were given out to friends for bartering services and a lot of charities.I'm not sure if something can be done about this but maybe the Better Business Burea or Delaware's Consumer Fraud Dept should check this out! I must admit last service performed was great! Also, they need to get new colors to choose from for manicures its the same stuff from last year.I did notice that my last mani lasted 3 days and it started peeling off-wonder if polish was thinned out?

I go there for dr. michelle parsons and she is suh a sweet lady. and the mani/pedi lady named kitty is a delight! I know it is in a wierd spot for a spa but its the inside that really counts. I think the people there are very nice but as I read other peoples reviews here I also noticed that the manager gets alot of complaints. but overall each time I go in I get a warm welcome and have a nice stay!

I had a massage by Elise a facial from Gloria and a mani/pedi by Heather. All the services were fantastic and meticulous. These women really know what they are doing and take their time with you. It did get a little crowded, probably a testament to the quality of the services. I always felt like they were taking their time and paying attention to what they were doing. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, definately not the snooty beauty you find at so many salons. I will go back for sure.

Spa services were fine. There are some really good people working there but the owner and her conduct are a nightmare ! Next time I'm in town I'll skip this experience!

this is the place to go. What a hectic place to try and relax. It's hardly enjoyable. My manicure was apparently given by the owner who couldn't get off the phone to give a client a minute of time. Is that really the way to run a business? After I left I spoke to others who had similar experiences with the inconsiderate service they had recieved from this lemonade stand. And it IS far from the sea.

It is at least 5 miles from the beach and the reception is not a pleasant experience.The parking lot is a nightmare and the location is inconvenietn. Never have I had a facial like the one given to me by Gloria at Spa by the Sea! No one does a massage like that and no one takes more pride than this woman. Bravo!

everything because the spa was the best and it gives you a reason to stay there! when you go on to the beach you will be relaxed!

friendly staff, quiet pedicure room and manicure room. relaxing and in a great location. perfect for someone who wanys a break from over the top, loud salons with noisy staff.
