Horrible Management

We are not from the area, but were vacationing and I had purchased a gift certificate for my girlfriend's birthday. Unfortunately, we had an emergency and were unable to make it for the appointment. I called 24 hours prior to cancel the appointment; however no one was there to answer the phone so I left a voicemail. I did not recieve a return call, so when we returned home I called to discuss the situation with hopes of a refund or at least to reschedule another appointment for which we would be in the area. I've called numerous times to speak with the manager and/or owner about this issue and have not recieved a return phone call after leaving several messages. One conversation with a receptionist leads me to believe that I will not recieve neither a refund nor a rescheduled appointment as the receptionist who was aware of my situation said because I didn't give 24 hours notice as a result of no one being there to take the phone call, she didn't think the owner would allow either Basically it has been about 2 months of calling and leaving messages to no avaIl, the ownership/management should re-evaluate their customer service, I will not go back and I will tell anyone I know visiting the area to avoid this awfully managed business.
